2025 VRW Crime Victim Scholarship Application

What is SC Victims’ Rights Week? Crime victims/survivors and professional service providers attend to learn from each other as well as experts in the field, share their experiences and meet others who “walk in your shoes.” Crime victims/survivors pay homage to lost loved ones during an intensely moving Unity Ceremony, and attend workshops devoted to helping deal with grief, anger, and stress.

Are you interested in attending the 2025 Victims’ Rights Week Conference April 1-3, 2025? You must meet the following criteria to apply: 1) You are 18 years of age or older and 2) Your victimization took place in the state of South Carolina.

Important Notice: Scholarship awards are not guaranteed, and not all applicants may receive a scholarship. If awarded, the scholarship will cover all conference-related expenses, including registration fees, lodging (if applicable), and most meals. However, it does **not** cover transportation costs to and from the conference. If you are requesting lodging, a Friday checkout option is available; however, this will depend on the number of requests and the availability of sufficient scholarship funds to accommodate such requests.

One scholarship application is required per person. If you are hoping to attend as a family or with someone associated with your victimization, you will still need to fill out one per person.
