Laura S. Hudson VRW Scholarship Fund
The Laura S. Hudson VRW Scholarship Fund was created to honor Mrs. Laura S. Hudson’s unwavering dedication to South Carolina’s crime victims. She has committed her time to protecting and enhancing crime victims’ rights and ensuring victims receive services to help empower them to take the first step forward after a life-altering crime. This scholarship fund will provide victims’ the opportunity to attend South Carolina’s Annual Victims’ Rights Week Conference. Crime victims and professional service providers attend to learn from each other as well as experts in the field, share their experiences and meet others who “walk in their shoes.” Victims pay homage to their lost loved ones during an intensely moving Unity Ceremony, and attend workshops devoted to helping them deal with grief, anger, and stress.

Full scholarship - includes registration fee and lodging (per person): $720
Partial scholarship - includes registration fee (per person): $350
