We encourage you to nominate victim service providers, crime victims and survivors, and criminal justice professionals for the 2025 Victims' Rights Week Service Awards with our convenient online submission.
Award Categories:
Outstanding Service Provider: This award is given to a direct service provider who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to assist crime victims.
Criminal Justice: This award is given to a member of the criminal justice system who has exemplified true advocacy on behalf of crime victims.
Distinguished Survivor: This award is given to a crime victim/ survivor or a family member of a victim that has persevered through adversity and tragedy.
Distinguished Humanitarian: This award is given to an individual who has dedicated their life to victim services.
Volunteer of the Year: This award is given to an individual who has committed their time and talent to assisting crime victims.
Laura Slade Hudson Scales of Justice Award: This award honors an individual who has demonstrated unwavering dedication and long-term commitment to making significant changes to public policy and practices benefiting South Carolina’s crime victims. This is an extraordinary individual who bravely, boldly and with the strength of a bull dog, makes necessary change happen. PLEASE NOTE: This award may not be given on a yearly basis.
