Emergency
Financial Assistance Fund
The Victim Information Program Emergency Assistance Fund was established
to help victims of crime in South Carolina when local resources and
funding programs or private insurance are unavailable. The Program shall
serve, on an emergency basis, to supplement existing services when no
other means of financial assistance is immediately available to crime
victims.
Survival Guides
The Survival Guide is available to provide answers to
basic questions and updated contact information for other statewide
services victims may need. This
information is easy to read and digest, and is most useful during the
confusing time after the crime occurs when the victim does not know who
to turn to for answers. The
Survival Guide is available in Spanish and English.
